Industrial Engineer

Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer, you will be instrumental in evaluating existing processes, designing new systems, and guiding improvements that lead to increased efficiency and savings. You will work closely with various teams to analyze production schedules and help implement best practices within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and eliminate waste within production processes.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to redesign processes for optimal flow.
• Establish metrics to gauge operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Review and improve supplier performance in alignment with production needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Suggest enhancements to manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting based on production data.
• Utilize simulation tools to model production systems.
• Document standard operating procedures for all engineering processes.
• Engage with stakeholders for feedback on engineering proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, preferably industrial engineering
