SOC Analyst

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and threat detection to protect our information assets. You will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security threats while contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security events and respond to incidents efficiently.
• Assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and other stakeholders during incidents.
• Utilize threat intelligence to anticipate attacks and defend against them.
• Participate in security assessments and penetration testing.
• Train and mentor junior security analysts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a security operations role
