Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of civil engineering principles and experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative engineering solutions for complex problems.
• Manage client communications to ensure project satisfaction.
• Review and approve project designs and specifications.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, reporting variances promptly.
• Conduct research and stay updated on civil engineering trends.
• Enhance project efficiency through innovative technology and methods.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with partners and clients.
• Participate in community engagement and public meetings when required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in construction management

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Registered Engineer Certificate (REC)
• ISO Certification in Project Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
