Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Field Research Scientist to conduct vital research projects in Cape Town. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to collect and analyze data, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to impactful findings that advance scientific understanding and community well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews to inform the design of research projects.
  • Develop data collection tools and methodologies that support field studies.
  • Ensure that all research activities comply with relevant laws and ethical guidelines.
  • Present research findings at conferences and community meetings.
  • Enhance existing research protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • PhD in a relevant field is highly desirable
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in academic or applied field research
