Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept development through completion.
• Create and present design proposals that align with client aspirations.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to realize design intent.
• Manage project logistics, timelines, and budgets effectively.
• Review and approve contractor work to ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Engage in ongoing client consultations to maintain alignment and satisfaction.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on design best practices.
• Attend design exhibitions and workshops to enhance industry knowledge.
• Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Foster partnerships with furniture and decor suppliers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Certification in Project Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in residential and commercial design

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering
• Interior Space Planning

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
