Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician in Bloemfontein to provide technical assistance to our users and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues and will work collaboratively with our IT team to resolve them promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide user support and troubleshooting during desktop and application installations.
  • Assist in maintaining network infrastructure and security.
  • Work closely with the IT team to enhance system performance.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
  • Execute preventative maintenance on IT equipment.
  • Train users in basic IT operations and best practices.
  • Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in IT or relevant field
  • Additional certifications in networking or security are a plus.
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role
