Job Description

As an Outdoor Adventure Instructor, you will be responsible for leading clients on various outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while fostering a love for nature. Your role will involve preparing equipment, instructing participants, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead outdoor excursions while prioritizing participant safety and enjoyment.
• Communicate effectively with participants to enhance their experience.
• Evaluate environmental conditions to ensure safe operation of outdoor activities.
• Mentor new instructors and assist in training programs.
• Gather and analyze feedback from participants to improve future experiences.
• Engage with local communities and promote outdoor values.
• Develop promotional materials for new adventure offerings.
• Participate in local conservation efforts and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Outdoor Recreation, Environmental Science, or related field
• Advanced Wilderness Training is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in outdoor education or guiding
