E-commerce Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager who will oversee our online sales strategy in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and consumer behavior, and will be responsible for driving online sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize landing pages and improve conversion.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the e-commerce ecosystem.
• Assist in developing training programs for staff on e-commerce best practices.
• Ensure compliance with e-commerce regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in E-commerce, Marketing, or a related field
• Master's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of e-commerce experience, including leadership roles

Technical Skills

• Shopify
• Google Analytics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified E-commerce Professional (CEP)
• Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems: Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies: Experience in running A/B tests to optimize digital marketing campaigns.
