We are on the lookout for a qualified Environmental Engineer to join our team in Stellenbosch. This role offers a chance to work on exciting projects aimed at enhancing sustainability and addressing environmental issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in environmental science and engineering principles, supplemented with practical experience in project management and field work.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee environmental management systems.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments of environmental risks.
• Develop proposals for environmentally sustainable projects.
• Advise clients on environmental best practices.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies for compliance.
• Facilitate workshops on sustainable practices.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation.
• Work on water resource management and conservation strategies.
• Support the development of renewable energy initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is an asset

Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant experience
