Job Description

The Barrel Header is responsible for overseeing the movement of barrels within a production facility, ensuring that they are properly filled, labeled, and stored. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, along with a strong understanding of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble barrels by hand using traditional coopering techniques.
• Source and select the best quality wood for barrels.
• Repair and maintain existing barrels as needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
• Provide input on process improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Master Cooper.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a production or logistics role

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Attention to Detail

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Valid forklift operating license

Languages
