Join our vibrant team as an Event Planner! You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution, from concept development to on-site management. Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, and parties.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event process.
• Create detailed event timelines and schedules.
• Develop creative themes and concepts for events.
• Supervise staff and volunteers during events to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Collect feedback from clients and guests to improve future events.
• Manage social media promotions for events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
• Diploma in Event Management preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Event Software Proficiency

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Local Suppliers and Venues: Established relationships with local event suppliers and venue owners could be advantageous.
