Risk Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Risk Analyst in Sandton to help assess and manage financial risks within our organization. The successful candidate will conduct analyses and produce reports that support our risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular risk meetings to discuss ongoing risk management initiatives.
• Compile and analyse data related to market trends and risks.
• Support the implementation of risk management software and tools.
• Engage with external auditors and regulators during assessments.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts in the risk management team.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining risk management activities and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field
• Professional qualifications in risk management are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in risk analysis or financial services

• Statistical Analysis

Certifications

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
• Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
