Civil Engineer

Job Description

Looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to manage and design vital infrastructure projects in Durban. Your role will include collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients, ensuring that all work is delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to clarify project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and provide timely updates.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluate existing structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Prepare cost estimates and budget forecasts.
• Assist in the environmental impact assessments of the projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer registration (Pr Eng) is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering projects
