Job Description

As a Clinical Research Coordinator in our Johannesburg office, you'll play a crucial role in managing clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include coordinating study activities, liaising with various stakeholders, and ensuring the highest standards of compliance throughout the research process.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full lifecycle of clinical trials, from planning to data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure the study protocol is adhered to, and monitor compliance with GCP.
  • Serve as a liaison between site staff and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and study files to ensure readiness for audits.
  • Assist in the creation of informed consent forms and patient recruitment materials.
  • Monitor patient recruitment, ensuring targets are met in a timely manner.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor study progress and compliance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss trial progress.
  • Maintain a system for tracking study data and results efficiently.
  • Support the team in health economic outcomes research as necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field
  • Advanced degree in gerontology or public health is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in a related field, with a focus on clinical trials management
