Information Security Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to develop and oversee our cybersecurity strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our users and data, ensuring the protection of our organization's assets against breaches and attacks. You will lead a team dedicated to security risk assessment, policy formulation, and incident management. You will also collaborate with various departments to promote awareness of security best practices and compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and update security architectures and frameworks.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend processes to meet relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate training initiatives to promote a better understanding of security issues.
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with IT and software development teams to identify security needs.
• Develop strategic plans for security and risk management for the organization.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure compliance of services with company standards.
• Implement threat intelligence solutions to preemptively address potential threats.
• Lead discussions with leadership regarding risks and necessary mitigations.
• Act as a point of contact for inquiries regarding cybersecurity.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.

Experience

• 7+ years in information security and management roles.
