Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our Johannesburg office. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including user manuals, online help, and technical specifications. Your expertise in distilling complex technical information into clear and concise content is essential as you'll collaborate closely with developers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Draft and produce clear, concise, and well-organized documentation for various audiences.
• Conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy.
• Revise and maintain existing documentation based on user feedback and changes.
• Utilize documentation tools and software to create and manage content.
• Support the design of the user interface with documentation in mind.
• Assist in developing training materials and programs for users.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communication or Information Technology

Experience

• 5+ years of technical writing experience with a strong portfolio

Technical Skills

• API Documentation
• Content Management Systems (CMS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
