Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll be instrumental in safeguarding our clients' information and systems from potential cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience in implementing security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive security architecture.
• Conduct training workshops on cybersecurity procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity solutions and products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives.
• Research emerging threats and recommend proactive measures.
• Assist with incident response planning and execution.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors.
• Document security processes and maintain up-to-date policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security
• Relevant certifications such as CISM or CCSP are highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years in a cybersecurity position with demonstrated success
