Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Auditor to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proven experience in auditing practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough audits on fiscal records and financial statements.
• Draft comprehensive reports detailing audit findings.
• Engage with stakeholders to explain audit outcomes and recommendations.
• Review and assess internal controls within client organizations.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior auditors.
• Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency in audit processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in auditing sectors

Technical Skills

• Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Data Analysis Tools (e.g., Tableau)

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Strong understanding of tax regulations: Knowledge of South African tax laws and compliance.
