Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our team in Cape Town. The successful applicant will be instrumental in creating innovative designs for diverse projects. You will work closely with clients and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic objectives. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong sense of design and an understanding of sustainability in architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining timelines and budgets.
• Evaluate building materials and construction methods for projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Facilitate communication between clients, team members, and contractors.
• Support the marketing efforts through the presentation of completed projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management

• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Sustainable Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
