Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor with a sharp eye for detail to oversee our auditing processes in Johannesburg. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits, preparing reports, and collaborating with management to rectify any identified issues. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing our overall compliance and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Review financial statements and provide analysis.
• Support management in implementing audit recommendations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of audit processes.
• Engage with external auditors during their assessments.
• Continuously improve audit processes for efficiency.
• Work closely with IT to assess the security of information systems.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on audit results.
• Document internal controls and procedures.
• Utilize auditing software to analyze data.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CIA or CISA certification is highly advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in internal auditing
