Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in civil engineering principles and be proficient in project management, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design phases of civil engineering projects.
• Ensure all engineering designs meet local codes and regulations.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with local authorities to secure necessary permits.
• Implement best practices for health, safety, and environmental management.
• Assist in the preparation of construction schedules and forecasts.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in infrastructure projects.
