Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that enhance their physical and mental well-being. You will provide vital support in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' physical, emotional, and social needs to craft suitable therapy plans.
  • Design and deliver therapy sessions that promote recovery and independence.
  • Evaluate and revise treatment plans to ensure goals are being met.
  • Engage in patient and family education on therapeutic processes and options.
  • Collaborate with a team of therapists, doctors, and nurses to coordinate care.
  • Document treatment progress and patient responses diligently.
  • Participate in workshops and continuing education for professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in occupational therapy
