Forensic Auditor

Job Description

As a Forensic Auditor, you will conduct thorough investigations into financial discrepancies and fraud to ensure transparency and compliance. You will be responsible for analyzing financial records, interviewing key personnel, and compiling detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic investigations into accounting records, financial statements, and transaction logs.
• Develop risk assessment models to evaluate fraudulent activities.
• Collaborate with IT specialists to analyze electronic data and records.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the audit process.
• Act as a resource for management regarding forensic audit recommendations.
• Lead investigations and direct junior auditors on casework.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Master's degree in Forensic Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in forensic auditing or related field

• Expertise in Forensic Techniques

Certifications

• CPAs (Certified Public Accountant)
