We are seeking a skilled Petrochemical Engineer to join our team at Leading Engineering Solutions in Richards Bay. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in chemical processing, project management, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select appropriate technological solutions for petrochemical applications.
• Implement process improvements and troubleshoot production issues.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies for compliance inspections and certifications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Engage with suppliers and contractors to enhance project success.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience

• Chemical Engineering Principles

Certifications

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with HAZOP Studies: Experience conducting HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies and risk assessments.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing: Practical experience in implementing lean practices in manufacturing settings.
