Scientific Linguist

Job Description

As a Scientific Linguist, you will conduct research to develop and enhance our natural language processing systems. You will analyze data and create statistical models to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our language processing platforms, collaborating closely with developers to implement and test innovative algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine natural language processing models and techniques.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to integrate NLP solutions.
• Evaluate and improve system performance through rigorous testing.
• Assist in grant writing and research proposal development.
• Participate in the planning and execution of conferences and workshops.
• Share findings through publications and presentations at academic events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Ph.D. preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Natural Language Processing or Computational Linguistics
