Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Veterinarian to enhance our clinic's mission. You will be responsible for diagnosing illnesses, managing treatment plans, and ensuring the overall well-being of our animal patients through excellent veterinary practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations on animals to diagnose health issues.
  • Create and implement treatment plans for various animal species.
  • Perform surgeries and medical procedures as required.
  • Administer vaccinations and preventative health products.
  • Educate pet owners about animal care and health management.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff effectively.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs.
  • Stay current with veterinary medicine developments and practices.
  • Handle emergencies and provide critical care when needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Current registration with the South African Veterinary Council
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in veterinary practice
