Job Description

We are looking for a General Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality healthcare services, conduct examinations, and develop treatment plans for patients. You will work closely with nurses and specialists to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Perform routine health assessments and diagnostics.
  • Provide patient-centered care with empathy and respect.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
  • Utilize electronic health records for documentation.
  • Address health disparities in the community.
  • Involve patients in their care decisions.
  • Participate in research and clinical trials as needed.
  • Share knowledge with peers and contribute to team meetings.
  • Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Fellowship in Family Medicine is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in family medicine or general practice
