Epitaxial Reactor Technician

Job Description

The Epitaxial Reactor Technician will operate and maintain epitaxial reactors, ensuring efficient production processes for semiconductors. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of semiconductor technology and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate epitaxial reactors in accordance with SOPs.
• Monitor reactor conditions and make necessary adjustments.
• Lead investigations into equipment failures and recommend repairs.
• Provide insights for minimizing downtime and optimizing operations.
• Support the development of training materials for staff.
• Facilitate communication between production and engineering teams.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Actively contribute to health and safety audits.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
