Job Description

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Actuary to help assess and mitigate financial risks. You will play a pivotal role in designing models that predict outcomes, assessing the likelihood of various financial events, and consulting cross-functionally to implement effective financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial calculations to evaluate financial risks and reserves.
• Design risk management frameworks to manage exposures.
• Regularly review and update actuarial models as necessary.
• Present findings to different stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimise data management processes.
• Participate in actuarial professional development activities.
• Implement best practices in financial modelling and risk assessment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Engage with clients to provide reassurance in times of uncertainty.
• Develop strategies for pricing insurance products appropriately.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience within the financial sector
