IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to enhance our support operations in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for resolving technical problems, assisting with user inquiries, and contributing to our IT projects. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in IT support and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for technical issues.
• Perform troubleshooting on network connectivity and performance issues.
• Assist in the setup of new workstations and training users.
• Create and maintain user documentation for IT systems.
• Monitor IT systems for security breaches and report incidents.
• Support remote workers with IT-related issues as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in IT Support or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support roles

Technical Skills

• Mac OS
• Active Directory

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
