We are in search of a passionate Animal Behaviourist to join our expert team at Animal Care Solutions in Cape Town. The role involves assessing animal behaviour and developing treatment plans to enhance well-being and address problematic behaviours. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding animal owners through effective training and rehabilitation methods.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyse animal behaviours to determine underlying issues.
• Design behaviour intervention strategies that are effective and humane.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about training and behaviour modifications.
• Document interventions and track the progress of animal behaviour cases.
• Collaborate with other specialists in veterinary and animal welfare fields.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on animal behaviour for the public.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Psychology, or related field
• Relevant certifications in animal behaviour preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years working in a veterinary or animal behaviour setting
