Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will have experience in managing civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring that all designs are safe, functional, and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee construction of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations and specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks during construction phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project success.
• Assist in environmental assessments and impact reports.
• Manage client relationships and project updates.
• Resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Maintain accurate project records and documents.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
