As an Accountant at our Johannesburg office, you will oversee accounting functions such as managing accounts payable/receivable, producing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• Process daily transactions, verifying accuracy and completeness.
• Compile reports for management to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations.
• Utilize accounting software to streamline financial operations.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in optimizing expenditure.
• Act as a point of contact for financial inquiries from clients and vendors.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., SAP, Quickbooks)
• Microsoft Excel

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• CIMA Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business
• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent
