Job Description

Responsibilities

• Lead the design phase of electrical projects from conception to completion.
• Review project specifications and collaborate with clients to meet their needs.
• Manage project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Implement energy-efficient practices and technologies within projects.
• Provide training and support in electrical engineering methodologies.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and adherence to designs.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Ensure continuous professional development in electrical engineering techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles

• SANS 10142 Wiring Installation Certificate

• Experience in Energy Audits: Background in conducting energy audits for commercial or residential projects.
