We are on the lookout for a passionate Fashion Designer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creating unique designs that blend aesthetics with functionality, staying ahead of fashion trends and consumer preferences.

Responsibilities

• Design collections that are innovative, functional, and stylish.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials.
• Participate in fashion shows and events to showcase designs.
• Liaise with suppliers for fabric and material sourcing.
• Assist in maintaining the design studio and materials inventory.
• Evaluate design concepts and make adjustments as needed.
• Keep up to date with fashion trends and competitors.
• Mentor junior designers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
• Additional certifications in fashion design preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a fashion design role

Technical Skills

• Photoshop

Languages

• English: Fluent
