Job Description

As a Through Freight Engineer, you will oversee the transportation of goods to ensure smooth and timely deliveries. Collaborating with logistics teams, you will address challenges, negotiate with suppliers, and continually seek process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate transportation performance metrics to enhance future operations.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining service levels.
• Facilitate training sessions for new logistics staff on processes and compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for freight-related inquiries and issues.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate transportation risks.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in freight logistics

Technical Skills

• Advanced Freight Management Software
• Data Analysis Tools

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
