Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Doctor to join our energetic team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, providing excellent care to pets and their owners. Our ideal candidate has a strong commitment to animal welfare and is skilled in both clinical practice and communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate animal health by performing physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual pets.
• Engage with pet owners to discuss health concerns and treatment options.
• Supervise veterinary technicians and interns.
• Provide emergency care in critical situations.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and medications.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine is preferred

• 4+ years of clinical experience

• Veterinary Anesthesia Certification

• Afrikaans: Fluent
