Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability and scalability of our systems. You will work closely with developers and IT staff to oversee code releases, and automate deployment processes, aiming to improve productivity within our operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the integration of new practices into existing systems.
• Create and manage backups for critical data.
• Design and implement monitoring solutions for cloud systems.
• Streamline processes for application deployment.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize IT needs.
• Analyze performance metrics to improve existing systems.
• Assist in the configuration and management of cloud services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, systems architecture, or cloud engineering

• AWS
