Job Description

As a Laborer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our warehouse operations by handling the receipt and dispatch of goods. Your efforts will ensure that our logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the shipping and receiving team to keep track of inventory.
• Perform periodic stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding task progress.
• Train new staff in warehouse procedures and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years in a warehouse or logistics environment

Technical Skills

• Warehouse management systems
• Forklift operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Health and safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience with health and safety regulations in warehousing: Knowledge of safety protocols applicable to warehousing is advantageous.
