Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality leather products, ensuring attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship. The position requires an individual with a passion for leatherworking and a commitment to creating unique items that meet our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype new leather goods based on customer specifications.
• Select and procure leather and other materials needed for production.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during production.
• Document all production processes for quality assurance.
• Participate in workshops to enhance skills and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in leatherworking or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in leatherworking or a related field

Technical Skills

• Leatherworking tools
• Leather finishing
• CAD Software

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Leatherworking Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with exotic leathers: Knowledge and skill in handling and crafting with premium leathers.
• Custom or bespoke leather goods experience: Experience in creating tailored leather products to client specifications.
