We are in search of a Data Scientist to join our forward-thinking team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will utilise statistical methods and machine learning capabilities to interpret complex data for decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select cybersecurity tools and solutions.
• Provide expert insights during security audits.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity staff and assist in their professional development.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to cybersecurity.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT-related field
• Master's degree is highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with an emphasis on security analysis
