We are seeking a meticulous and driven Laboratory Analyst to join our research and development team in Durban. In this role, you will conduct various laboratory analyses, supporting the team in developing innovative projects that transform scientific hypotheses into tangible outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute laboratory tests with precision, documenting results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and calibrations on analytical equipment.
• Assist in the compilation of safety data sheets and laboratory manuals.
• Educate team members on safety and laboratory best practices.
• Stay updated on advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies.
• Contribute to presentations at scientific conferences when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role preferred
