Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Collaborate with nurses and paramedics for comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients about their condition and post-discharge care.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct emergency procedures as necessary, including trauma care.
• Engage in community outreach and education activities.
• Actively participate in peer reviews and case discussions.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff.
• Keep abreast of medical advances in emergency medicine.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in emergency care settings.

Technical Skills

• Emergency Medical Equipment

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
