UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for creating seamless and intuitive user experiences that cater to our customers’ needs. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and is passionate about enhancing user interactions.

Responsibilities

• Research user needs and behaviors to inform product design.
• Create interactive prototypes for testing and feedback.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure alignment on user experience goals.
• Evaluate and improve existing products based on user feedback and testing.
• Drive a user-centered design philosophy across the organization.
• Participate in team meetings to share design insights and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant design field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX design or interaction design

Technical Skills

• Wireframing
• User Testing Methods

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• HCI Certification
• UX/UI Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with agile methodologies: Understanding of agile workflows and interaction with product sprints.
• Knowledge in front-end development: Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript for better collaboration with development teams.
