Responsibilities

• Engage clients in the design process to understand their preferences.
• Draft technical drawings and specifications for design projects.
• Analyse space availability and functionality for optimal design.
• Work closely with contractors to ensure design integrity during execution.
• Cultivating networking relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Review design plans and specifications for accuracy and consistency.
• Mentor junior designers in best practices and design techniques.
• Participate in design exhibitions and workshops to showcase company capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Design
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Interior Design Software

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in event design: Ability to conceptualize and execute design for events and exhibitions.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations: Understanding of zoning laws and safety regulations.
