We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves working on a variety of civil projects, ensuring compliance with both local and international standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency and innovative problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility.
• Review and approve contractor submissions, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Advise on project-related environmental and sustainability issues.
• Support the bidding process for prospective projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Engineering

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Basic
