Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at Mental Health Services, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders through various therapeutic techniques. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and contribute to the mental health community in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs through interviews and psychometric tests.
• Formulate and execute treatment strategies tailored to individual clients.
• Lead therapy sessions for various mental health issues.
• Work closely with the healthcare team on integrated treatment plans.
• Keep comprehensive records of all client interactions and progress.
• Engage in continuous learning and utilize new therapeutic techniques.
• Provide guidance to support staff in implementing treatment strategies.
• Participate in community outreach programmes to increase mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology
• PhD in Psychology is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years working with diverse populations
