UX Designer

Job Description

As a UX Designer in our Cape Town office, you will lead user research efforts, develop prototypes, and conduct usability testing to refine and improve our designs. Your work will be integral in shaping our products and enhancing user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead user experience research initiatives, applying quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Develop interaction flows and customer journey maps.
• Facilitate workshops and design sprints with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain UI design specifications and documentation.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and gather feedback.
• Ensure designs are responsive and accessible across devices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
• Master's degree in Design is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Wireframing
• User Interface Design

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Empathy

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Accessibility Standards: Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
