We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. This role focuses on optimising and automating processes to ensure robust system performance and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage highly available systems in the cloud.
• Drive the implementation of containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Evaluate and enhance deployment methodologies for better performance.
• Collaborate on Agile projects to ensure smooth integration of operations.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certification in DevOps practices is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of full-stack software development with DevOps experience

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages
