As a Tax Consultant at Tax Advisors Co., you will navigate complex tax scenarios for our clients while ensuring compliance with laws. Your expertise will help clients optimize their tax strategies. Responsibilities

• Review financial statements for tax implications.
• Work alongside financial advisors to ensure tax strategies align with financial goals.
• Assist in the development of tax policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Develop client relationships through excellent service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax consultancy

Technical Skills

• Financial Analysis
• Tax Software

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Client Management

Certifications

• Registered with SAIT
• CFA or similar is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Familiarity with corporate tax compliance: Experience in ensuring corporate compliance with tax regulations.
• Expertise in VAT and PAYE: Strong knowledge of VAT and PAYE regulations in South Africa.
